Consider that a web developer will charge you a minimum charge for each change you want to do. That can mean $50 for a simple text change...Yes, it is true. Trust me, I have been there.

Some developers will suggest that you wait until you have many small changes before giving them the task of updating your website...so that the charge to you is 'worth it' - as opposed to paying the minimum charge for a small, simple change.

What I am saying is that when a developer 'opens' your file or website, there is that minimum charge! So, a few small changes may cost you the same as 1 change. So, not only do you have to wait for some accumulated changes (and the hassle of recording them, etc.), but, you still have to pay the high developer costs. It can be a waist of time, and a waist of your website - because it is not being updated when you need and want your website updated - losing potential income...no-one wants that.
